FRESH New London
FRESH New London will be hosting a potluck, farm tour, and discussion of season extension (And year-round greenhouse production if Rob Schact from Huntsbrook Farm is able to make it). We will meet at the FRESH farm on the Waterford Country School’s campus at 78 Huntsbrook Rd. in Quaker Hill, CT (follow the signs and arrows to FRESH farm). Parking at the Rose Lodge further down the dirt road from our field.

Provider Farm, Salem CT
Farm Tour at 4pm followed by potluck at 6:00 pm
Max Taylor of Provider Farm will talk about the Provider Farm tractor fleet focusing on tools we use for weed cultivation in the field.
Provider Farm is a 10 acre non-certified organic vegetable farm that uses biodynamic methods. We are primarily a CSA serving 200 shareholders and sell to farmers markets and wholesale accounts. We also maintain a small grassfed beef herd on 20 acres on rationally grazed pasture.
