ABOUT US
The New CT Farmer Alliance is a statewide network of farmers and growers. By bringing young, new and emerging farmers together it is our intent to identify and help develop support systems to nurture a successful and diverse agricultural landscape for our state. We may have the word "New" in our name, but farmers of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to join!
We are an all volunteer network. All you have to do to be a part of it is show up, speak up, share, and make friends!

Based on input from our members, NCTFA put together a policy platform that truly captures the changes we need to see in Connecticut agriculture in order to succeed as new and beginning farmers.
We are pleased to share our policy platform, Future of Farming CT.
We believe in the transformative power of food and land. We are passionate about building a more resilient local food system, fighting climate change, and working towards racial equity. In order to effectively do this, we need state legislators and institutions to take bold action on our priorities.
